Happy Father's Day :D

Music: News

Hope all the dads had a great Father's Day! I know mine did. :D He took the day off today, and I took over doing the laundry (which I didn't mind!), and the dishes. I ended up with today off because of yet another screw-up with my schedule at work. I was off last Monday/Tuesday, and was scheduled to work 8 days straight after that, which made me mad. I was given this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (the latter two which I requested so I can go on my trip) off.  I didn't need Thursday off, so one of my co-workers traded with me, so I work Thursday, and was off today. :)

My dad and I watched the race from Michigan together, which was altogether boring, and frustrating with all the commercials (damn you to Hell, TNT!! GRRR). I could tell you about the new motor oil, and what kind of Nugget sauces McDonald's has, but couldn't tell you what happened in the race. Nope. Wish the coverage would stay on FOX all year, but yeah, football and all that other shit I don't watch. :(

After the race, I went to Whataburger and bought my dad and I lunch. Came home and ate and watched some True Blood, though I started watching in the middle, and had no idea who anyone was or what was going on...it's frustrating when they don't really stick to the books. I thought Laffayette died?!

I started messing around with my keyboard again last night...was fun because it had been so long since I'd last played. I'm trying to pick up One Republic's "Apologize" again, as I had tried to learn it before, but just kinda strayed away from it. Trying to learn how to play in general, just because I love it, and if I do in fact make up my mind to pursue music again in college, I'll have had a refresher. :)

I stayed up until almost 3:30 this morning, talking to Daniel, J.R., and Jonathan; playing the keyboard, and just not ready to go to sleep. Was just wired, I guess.

Well, that's all for now, next week will be busy getting everything ready for the weekend. Will update again soon. Peace.
