And the music keeps playing on and on...and sometimes it needs to shut the fuck up! :P

Yes, I know! I should be cleaning, or washing the car. Or something. But instead, here I sit, bugging people on facebook, and posting my newest blog. Truth is, this week has been kind of weird. This weekend, I worked a VERY long weekend (for me). I didn't leave until 7 each of the three days I was there. Sunday night, I was completely worn out. I slept in on Monday because of it, so cleaning the house was out. I just didn't have the energy. Not only was it such a busy weekend, but on Sunday my boss informed our area that we were on mandatory overtime, and that we had to sign up for at least one day to come in and work during the week. So I signed up for Tuesday night, 4pm-2am. This is very good for me, because I just got my raise, and plus with the extra time I put in this weekend, I thought, hey, this will be a good check!

So Monday was washed down the drain with any hopes that the house would get cleaned, thanks to my being tired. I stayed up late Monday night in hopes that I'd sleep in Tuesday morning, so I could get through the night at work. Always be prepared, kids. So once again I made the mistake of popping in a couple of Smallville episodes, and I fell asleep. I woke up about 2am to the sound of thunder, so I popped on facebook. My friend was telling me it was storming at her place. She lives about 15 minutes south of me, and that's where the thunder was coming from. I brought up radar, and sure enough, about 10 miles to my south sat a nice little storm. My two friends were getting it pretty good, since they live pretty near each other, and I'm sure the one had all his computer shit unplugged because of it, probably why he wasn't on facebook for me to ask what I wanted to ask. :P I did eventually get my question answered, by the way, thank you :D

But did we get the rain? Fuck no, what do you think this is, fucking Florida? :P Anyway, after I watched the storm die out into nothing, I went to bed. I woke up late on Tuesday, ate, and headed in to work. The night went by super fast, and I spent it loading a truck, the first time I'd done so. I even worked with my old co-worker, Jessica. We got caught up on each others' lives, and waited for freight, and talked, and waited some more. Around 12:30, the manager over the area told me I could go home if I wanted to. I counted up in my head how many hours I was at, and decided I'd put in enough to make my overtime for Friday, filled out my production sheet and left. Friday is going to be a good day :)

I had to get up this morning and take my car in to get two new tires. Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, thank God, because tires aren't cheap, people. And I have a small car. Okay, if you call a Cobalt sedan a small car. My old friend Frank took very good care of me, well, the car, anyway. So now when I drive to work, that's one less worry on my mind.

So far, I've done nothing to accomplish what I set out to do, but like I said, it's been kind of a strange week. I'm not complaining about working, just wish it would have come about last week when I had no plans to do anything. My aunt flies in a week from today, and nothing is done in the house. Guess what I'll be doing next Monday and Tuesday. Yep, you're smart if you guessed it.

This weekend I don't know what to expect, but then again, I never do. Ready to get it over with, that's for sure! Then I can come home and buckle down and get things done! :) My list got shot to hell, and all i have to show for it is an awesome paycheck.

Hey, I think I've come out ahead when you think about it. :D More to come. Stay tuned.
