So what's new everyone? For me, it's been an uneventful couple of days. I had the past two days off, which was nice considering I have to work the next SIX. Yeah, I know, it sucks. The next two weeks my off days are split. I'm going to have to talk to my manager to see if he can set my off days to Tuesday/Wednesday.
Monday we got a little rain as the front was passing through, then it turned gorgeous. They had some nasty storms over the weekend, including twin (yes, I said 'twin') tornadoes up in Iowa. Scary! The video is so eerie. They formed at night, which upped the 'scary' factor times 10. I never I repeat NEVER want to chase a tornado at night! Okay, yes, I know that's the chaser's job and everything, but are you people CRAZY?! lol Kudos to you for putting your lives on the line to protect the rest of us who aren't pros at this, but that's something I never want to do as a chaser. Let that stay with the rest of them. Let them have fun chasing twisters at night.
Monday I was bored out of my mind, but I helped the 'rents clean up the spare bedroom and put my old bed back together. They took off to run some errands, and it was nice to have the house to myself for a couple of hours. My car went to the shop as well to see if the two problems (A/C and Co2 sensor (?)) could be fixed.
Today was a little different. Another gorgeous day! I ran up to Walmart to ask Jessica if she wouldn't mind switching shifts with me on Saturday, as the kids are coming over to celebrate four birthdays at once. Got a few things and came home. The air was so dry and cool, so I went for a bike ride for a little bit, but the air was so dry, it made my nose hurt, but I got some good exercise (never hurts!). Took a break and went in to clean up my room and eat lunch, and watch Smallville. I took the bike back out later in the afternoon, but kept having to watch for cars as it was rush hour, so I didn't stay out long this time. Damn crazy drivers. I thought my neighbor was going to run me over because they weren't moving over. I was up against the curb waiting for them to pass. He's a dipshit, anyway. Glad I didn't get run over. :P
After a nice bath and dinner and Smallville, I hopped on Facebook. People are cold, man. So cold. But whatever. I reported the sumbitch, and talked to my friends who made me feel better (not that I was upset per se, just annoyed). So yeah, now I have six fun-filled days of work ahead of me. Here we go again, folks.
Blah, I'm tired. I'm going to bed. Peace.
