I just found out my best friend got engaged tonight YAAAAYY!!! I'm so excited for her. :D I don't think she was expecting it. Now we have to plan her bachelorette party, which is going to kick ass. :)

I had the day off today, and a friend who I haven't seen in almost two years, Jessica (same person I mentioned a few posts back about joining facebook), invited me to the mall. My other friends, Samantha and Alaina, went, too. The only person missing was Heather, who had to work (though we threatened to come kidnap her). We had a blast..it had been AGES since I've had a girl's day out, or seen any of these girls. We did some catching up, ate lunch, and shopped. It was so nice to have a day like this. :)  We went into Spencer's and looked at their bachelorette party stuff, and talked about who's party we'd be planning first. Since Samantha was the only one out of us who was engaged (until Heather tonight), we told her we were going to make it a bad-ass party. Funny that we were talking about Heather and how she might be next in line. Stranger things have happened.

We shopped some more, then Jessica dropped all of us off at our respective homes. I logged on FB and found out Heather  was engaged.  So exciting! Now we have two parties to plan. Should be interesting. :)

Crosby got our first taste of Spring (and please let that be a sign of things to come) with a late evening thunder shower. Not exciting enough to go nuts over, but the sound of thunder was music to my ears.

Tomorrow it's back to work...two more days of closing, then I'm off Friday, and hopefully I can take care of what needs to be done. Goodnight. :)
